The Waves Audio SoundGrid Extreme Server is a high-performance external DSP engine designed to run Waves plug-ins at ultra-low latency. Connected over standard Ethernet, it offloads intensive processing from your console or computer, delivering stable, responsive performance for large plug-in chains and multiple mixes. Used with SuperRack or SoundGrid Studio, it provides flexible routing and snapshot-driven workflows that suit fast-paced live environments as well as demanding studio and broadcast setups.
Compact and road-ready, the Extreme Server integrates seamlessly into a SoundGrid network, enabling scalable, networked audio processing at sample rates up to 96 kHz. It’s ideal for enhancing FOH and monitor mixes with premium dynamics, EQ, and effects, all while preserving system headroom and responsiveness. With straightforward setup and proven reliability, it allows engineers to focus on mix decisions rather than CPU limits.
