The Roland XS‑62S is a compact 6‑input presentation switcher designed for dependable live events, hybrid meetings and streaming. With HDMI, 3G‑SDI and analogue connectivity, it handles laptops, cameras and legacy sources with ease. Two fully assignable programme/aux outputs include high‑quality scaling, ensuring crisp images and smooth changeovers to projectors, recorders and encoders. Onboard processing covers picture‑in‑picture, split screen, downstream keying and logo overlays, reducing the need for extra hardware.
Operation is straightforward from the front panel for portable rigs, while LAN and RS‑232 enable simple integration in fixed installations. The audio section is equally capable, with embed/de‑embed, automatic mixing for speech, plus EQ and dynamics to optimise microphones and playback. Scene memories speed up setup and recall for repeat sessions and room presets.
This ex‑demo unit is in good cosmetic condition, fully tested and fully functional—offering excellent value for permanent installs and portable fly‑packs. Ideal for corporate AV, education, houses of worship and multi‑purpose rooms that need reliable switching, tidy audio management and professional outputs for both in‑room and streaming audiences.
