This two-camera JVC ProHD kit delivers a matched ENG and studio solution with one GY-HM850 and one GY-HM890. Both shoulder-mount camcorders share the same codecs, menus and ergonomics, enabling crews to switch between live production and field recording with minimal reconfiguration. Optics are covered by a Fujinon 20x zoom for long-reach work and a Canon 14x zoom for wide to mid-range framing, giving flexible coverage for interviews, events and OB shoots. Supplied camera remote controllers provide off-camera access to iris, paint/shading and key menus, so you can align, shade and match cameras without touching the bodies.
Power is managed via external V-Lock batteries with a dedicated charger for dependable, hot-swappable operation, and a snaplock V‑mount plate supports secure stand or fixed-rig integration. Note: the internal camera batteries are defective (memory does not function); use the included external V‑Lock batteries for reliable operation.
