Focusrite RedNet D16 is a rugged 1U Dante–to–AES3 interface designed to bridge networked audio with professional digital consoles, recorders and outboard. It provides 16 channels of transparent, bidirectional audio at up to 24‑bit/192 kHz, with per‑channel digital trim for precise level alignment across devices and formats. Primary and secondary locking etherCON ports deliver fully redundant Dante networking for mission‑critical applications, while BNC word clock in/out ensures stable, system‑wide synchronisation. Connectivity is installation‑friendly: two AES59 (DB25) ports offer 16 channels of AES3 I/O, an XLR handles DARS or standard AES3, and a coaxial S/PDIF input supports legacy or consumer sources. Configuration and routing are handled via Dante Controller for rapid setup and dependable operation within existing IP audio infrastructures. Built for low latency, high reliability and clean integration, RedNet D16 suits studio, live sound, broadcast and fixed installations where robust, professional digital audio is essential. Ideal for linking digital desks to Dante networks, feeding broadcast and record chains, and unifying theatre, live sound and houses of worship with consistent, high‑quality audio.
