Focusrite’s RedNet D16 is a 16‑channel Dante to AES3 interface designed to bridge networked audio with professional digital hardware while maintaining immaculate sound quality. It delivers bidirectional audio at up to 24‑bit/192 kHz, with per‑channel digital trim for accurate level matching across diverse systems. Dual locking etherCON ports provide primary/secondary network redundancy for dependable operation in live sound, broadcast and installed environments. Two AES59 (DB25) connectors offer 16 channels of AES3 I/O, with an additional XLR for DARS or standard AES3, plus coaxial S/PDIF for straightforward integration of consumer devices. BNC word clock in and out ensures stable system synchronisation. Configuration and routing are handled via Dante Controller for quick setup and robust day‑to‑day management. Housed in a durable 1U rack chassis, the RedNet D16 is ideal for linking consoles, recorders, converters and outboard to a Dante network without compromising fidelity or reliability. Perfect for live production, broadcast trucks, theatres, houses of worship, studios and post facilities.
