Allen & Heath’s SQ5 is a compact, tour‑ready digital mixer powered by the 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine for pristine audio and ultra‑low latency. A bright capacitive touchscreen, dedicated rotary encoders and assignable SoftKeys provide fast, intuitive control for front of house, monitors, broadcast and streaming. Every input and mix bus features deep processing, including dLive‑class dynamics, a 4‑band parametric EQ and premium onboard effects, minimising the need for external outboard. Capture stereo recordings straight to USB with SQ‑Drive, or handle full multitrack recording, playback and virtual soundchecks via the integrated 32x32 USB interface. The SLink port enables straightforward expansion with remote stageboxes, while optional audio networking cards such as Dante offer flexible integration into larger systems. Robust scene management, user libraries and granular access control streamline changeovers and multi‑user workflows. Housed in a rugged, space‑efficient chassis, SQ5 deploys quickly without compromising capability or sound quality. Ideal for live music venues, corporate events, houses of worship, theatres, broadcast and streaming setups.
