The Philips Vari-Lite VL6000 Beam sets a new benchmark for large-format beam effects, pairing a distinctive 14-inch front aperture with an exclusive ellipsoid reflector array to deliver a commanding, retro searchlight aesthetic. A punchy 6.5° native beam outputs over 55,000 lumens, while the variable iris tightens to near 1° for razor-sharp aerials and precise highlights. Three colour wheels provide 18 direct colours; additive mixing creates up to 55 full combinations plus vivid splits, with the Cloaked Transition Generator enabling smooth, timed colour fades to speed up programming. For imaging, seven interchangeable, fully rotatable and indexable gobos offer crisp mid-air textures, aided by a dedicated focus channel for fine projection control. The static/dynamic colour system maintains maximum punch at all times, ensuring the fixture cuts through on the largest stages. Recognised with PLSN’s Best New Beam Fixture and the Parnelli Award for Indispensable Technology, the VL6000 is built for impact. Ideal for touring, outdoor spectacles, broadcast and events where an iconic, high-intensity beam look is required.
