Powered by a 1200 W Philips MSR Gold FastFit lamp, it delivers up to 33,000 lumens in standard mode, with a quiet Studio mode offering 25,000 lumens when low-noise operation is essential. A precise 5:1 optical system provides a flexible 9–47° zoom with excellent centre-to-edge focus and impressive contrast for punchy, consistent beams.
Creative colour control is handled by an infinity CMY cross-fade system, variable CTO and two fixed colour wheels. For beam shaping and texture, the VL4000 Spot features two gobo wheels (seven rotating, indexable positions plus open), two rotating animation wheels with variable control, an iris and a 3-facet prism with divergence control. Dual coated glass dimmer flags offer smooth fades, while the dual-blade strobe system adds dynamic effects.
