The Soundcraft CSB32 Compact Stagebox Extended Set expands your Vi and Si systems with rugged, high‑density remote I/O in a compact 4U package. This extended bundle includes the CSB32 Stagebox and the Upper Section module, providing 32 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs and 8 channels of AES/EBU outputs as standard. Two D21m expansion slots let you tailor connectivity for formats such as CobraNet, A‑Net 16, Ethersound, ADAT, RockNet or MADI recording.
Connection to the host console is via Cat‑5 or optical‑fibre MADI with redundant link capability, mirroring the workflow of larger Vi stageboxes. For reliability on the road and in fixed installs, the unit features twin redundant power supplies, thermostatically controlled fan cooling, full LED status indication and an 8‑channel GPIO interface. It shares mic/line I/O modules with Vi1, enabling flexible reconfiguration and module sharing between console and stagebox.
Compatible with Vi1, Vi2, Vi4, Vi6, Vi1000–Vi7000 and Si Compact/Performer/Expression, the CSB32 Extended Set offers up to 64 in/64 out over MADI and scales easily to larger systems. Ideal for touring, theatre, broadcast and installed sound where dependable, modular remote I/O is essential.
