The Soundcraft Compact Stagebox is a high-density remote I/O solution for Soundcraft Vi Series, Vi1 and Si Series digital consoles. Built into a rugged 4U chassis, it provides a standard configuration of 32 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs and 8 channels of AES/EBU, all connected to the host console via a 64×64 MADI link over Cat5 or optical fibre with optional redundancy for resilience on critical shows. Two Studer D21m expansion slots allow you to tailor connectivity to your workflow, with modules available for formats such as CobraNet, Aviom A-Net 16, Ethersound, ADAT, RockNet and MADI recording.
For higher channel counts, the output module can be replaced with an additional 16-input card to deliver up to 48 analogue inputs. The stagebox shares mic/line I/O modules with the Vi1, offering flexible module exchange between console and stagebox. Designed for touring reliability, it features dual redundant power supplies, thermostatically controlled fan cooling, comprehensive LED status indication and 8-channel GPIO for control integration.
Ideal for expanding stage connectivity and delivering robust remote I/O in live sound, theatre and broadcast applications.
