The RCF TTS28-A is a touring-grade, active subwoofer featuring two high-power 18-inch neodymium drivers with 100 mm voice coils in a semi-charged horn design. This architecture boosts efficiency in the crucial 80–100 Hz region, adding extra headroom and impact while maintaining deep, controlled extension down to 30 Hz. A 2000 W switching amplifier and precision DSP deliver up to 139 dB SPL with impressive punch, clarity and reliability.
Connectivity is straightforward with balanced/unbalanced stereo XLR inputs and link outputs, plus PowerCON in/out for secure mains daisy-chaining. Onboard processing includes selectable 80 Hz or 110 Hz crossover points, phase control, fast limiting and thermal protection to keep performance consistent under pressure. Built from robust Baltic birch and engineered for the road, it features rigging-ready fittings, six side handles and a pole mount, while remaining compact for a dual 18-inch enclosure.
