The QSC KLA181 is a powered 18-inch flying subwoofer designed to add authoritative, extended low end to line-array and standalone PA systems. A 1,000 W power module drives a high-performance, vented 18-inch transducer, delivering up to 135 dB SPL peak with LF extension to 33 Hz for tight, musical bass at serious output levels. Integrated DSP optimises voicing, alignment and protection, ensuring consistent results and long-term reliability in demanding professional environments.
Deployment is quick and tidy thanks to powerCON Input and Thru for mains linking, while comprehensive rigging options make system configuration straightforward. Fly KLA181 using M10 mounting points or the KLA12AF array frame, or ground-stack with confidence. The black model adds a threaded pole mount capable of supporting up to two KLA12 enclosures, enabling compact, scalable full-range systems without separate stands.
From touring productions and live music to corporate events, houses of worship and fixed installations, KLA181 provides clean, controllable low-frequency reinforcement that scales with your project. Choose it when you need powerful bass, flexible rigging and the proven durability of QSC.
