Sold as a set of two, the Meyer Sound USW-1P is a self-powered subwoofer system delivering tight, musical low end with a flat response from 32–180 Hz. Each enclosure houses two 15-inch cone drivers, each powered by its own channel of a proprietary class AB/bridged amplifier (350 W per channel) with complementary MOSFET output stages. Robust protection limiting prevents over-excursion and manages voice coil temperature, enabling consistently high output, with maximum peak SPL up to 135 dB.
A built-in crossover accepts a full-range input, simplifying signal distribution and removing the need for external processing. Intelligent AC power automatically adapts to global voltages, suppresses transients and provides soft-start for reliable touring and installation use. Compatibility with Meyer Sound’s RMS remote monitoring allows you to view signal, power, limiter status and amplifier temperature across a networked system.
Ideal alongside Meyer Sound UPA-P and other self-powered mid-high cabinets, the USW-1P pair forms a powerful, compact low-frequency foundation for live sound reinforcement, AV installs and portable rental inventories.
