The Martin Audio W8LMDi is a compact, wide-dispersion line array element engineered for precision downfill in W8LM arrays or as a standalone mini array for short to medium throws. Its consistent 120° horizontal coverage and tightly controlled 20° vertical dispersion deliver even, intelligible sound to the audience area, with mid and high-frequency pattern control extending down to 750 Hz. A rear-mounted amplitude shading switch allows fine-tuning within multi-box hangs, while switchable passive or bi-amp operation offers deployment flexibility to suit your amplification strategy. Built from multi-laminate birch ply with a rugged textured black finish and steel grille, the W8LMDi is equally at home on the road or in discreet fixed installations. It integrates seamlessly via proprietary rigging, features dual Neutrik NL4 connectivity, and can be tripod-mounted singly or as a pair when used independently. A three-way design with horn-loaded HF and reflex-loaded LF/MF ensures punch and clarity, with peak SPL capability up to 130 dB.
