A 96 kHz, 32-bit floating-point SHARC DSP engine and premium 24-bit A/D conversion (130 dB dynamic range) ensure transparent, low-latency processing that preserves detail and impact. Factory-optimised presets speed deployment while maintaining the renowned L‑Acoustics sonic signature and power reserves.
Dual IIR/FIR filtering and the L‑DRIVE protection suite safeguard transducers and maximise long-term performance. Two inputs feed four efficient amplifier channels for flexible routing, while comprehensive control and monitoring are available via LA Network Manager. For fixed installations, the LA8 R3 also supports external control from AMX and Crestron systems, streamlining integration with wider AV platforms.
