Each 904 offers fully adjustable threshold, ratio, attenuation limit, attack and release, with dbx OverEasy action for a smooth, natural onset of gating. Programmed Latch Mode (PLM) can hold a channel open after a valid trigger, ideal for talkback, drum toms and managing noise floors. A key input allows frequency‑selective gating or external sidechain control, and modules can be strapped for stereo operation. Clear LED metering and hardwire bypass aid confident setup and faultless fail‑safe performance in demanding live and studio environments.
