The dB Technologies VIO S118R is a high-output active 18-inch bass reflex subwoofer engineered to extend the low-frequency performance of VIO line array systems. Powered by a 1600 W RMS Digipro G4 Class D amplifier with PFC and SMPS, it delivers reliable, consistent output even with fluctuating mains, reaching up to 139 dB max SPL. Its acoustic design provides deep extension from 35 Hz (–6 dB), while maintaining punch and control for touring and fixed install applications.
Integrated control is comprehensive: an RDNet card comes pre-installed for monitoring and system optimisation via Aurora Net, including an extended delay capability up to 62 ms. Onboard rotary control offers up to 9.9 ms delay in 0.1 ms steps for quick alignment on site. A dedicated cardioid preset simplifies rear-cancellation in inverted stack configurations, reducing stage wash and improving system clarity. With robust construction and network-ready architecture (optional Dante expansion), the VIO S118R is built for scalable, modern sound reinforcement.
