The ClayPaky Alpha 700 Wash is a compact, lightweight 700 W discharge washlight that delivers the punch and optical performance usually reserved for larger fixtures. Its highly efficient optics produce a bright, even field, with a 9–50° electronic linear zoom for smooth transitions from tight beams to wide coverage. A full CMY colour system, linear CTO/CTB and a six-colour wheel provide fast, creative colour changes and precise corrections for camera or stage. Movement is fast and quiet thanks to a refined pan/tilt system, while a hybrid electronic/mechanical dimmer ensures clean fades and reliable blackouts.
For precise beam control, two independently adjustable beam shapers are provided on dedicated channels, supported by a motorised top-hat to manage flare and spill. Control is straightforward via DMX with RDM support, and the modular design speeds up maintenance and reduces downtime. Its small footprint and efficient engineering help lower handling and running costs without compromising performance.
