The Barco DX 700 is a powerful multi-window video processor designed to get the very best from Barco LED displays. Built around a modular architecture, it accepts a wide range of input formats via field-installable cards, including DVI, Dual DVI, component analogue, composite, S‑Video, SD‑SDI, HD‑SDI and Dual HD‑SDI. Advanced 12‑bit internal processing, motion‑adaptive de‑interlacing, dynamic contrast enhancement and per‑channel RGB balance deliver crisp, accurate visuals at all times.
On the output side, DVI and NNI modules each offer three outputs that can be used independently or grouped to drive large LED canvases. Flexible layer control provides alpha blending, priority management, colour keying, freeze and strobe effects, while robust genlock options (external reference, selected input or free‑run) ensure reliable synchronisation. The 5RU chassis features seven rear slots for I/O expansion plus Ethernet, diagnostics, DMX, genlock and analogue/digital monitor outputs. Configuration is quick and intuitive via the front panel or Barco’s Director Toolset, with Setup and Input Wizards to streamline commissioning.
