Under the hood, 40‑bit floating‑point processing delivers pristine sound quality and generous headroom.
Connectivity is comprehensive: 32 mic/line inputs plus AES/EBU and S/PDIF, with 24 line outputs, 8 VCAs and 4 mute groups. Onboard processing includes four Lexicon stereo effects engines and 27 BSS FCS960 graphic EQs assignable across the 27 buses, with FaderGlow providing instant visual feedback. Show files and libraries are cross‑compatible with larger Vi systems, and Virtual Vi software enables convenient offline editing. A rear‑panel D21M card slot supports expansion to formats such as MADI, AES/EBU, ADAT and SDI, and allows integration with Soundcraft stageboxes and Optocore networks via appropriate interfaces.
