The Robe BMFL Spot is a flagship 1700W moving head designed for large stages and long‑throw applications where output and precision are critical. Its Osram HTI 1700/PS source delivers immense brightness and clean optics, with a motorised 5–55° linear zoom that moves effortlessly from tight aerial beams to wide stage coverage. Smooth, fast dimming and variable strobe provide confident, musical control for any show. Colour handling is comprehensive: CMY mixing, independent CTO and a 6‑slot colour wheel enable accurate palettes and rapid shifts. Creative imaging tools include two wheels of seven indexable rotating gobos, dual animation wheels, iris, frost, motorised focus and a prism, giving rich texture, pace and depth to looks. Robust 540° pan and 270° tilt mechanics ensure accurate, repeatable positioning. Integration is straightforward via DMX512, Art‑Net, MA Net, MA Net2, RDM and sACN, with 3‑ and 5‑pin XLR and selectable 33 or 41 channel modes for flexible patching. Ideal for arenas, concert touring, large theatres and broadcast environments demanding high‑output, precision spot lighting.
