ROBE’s MegaPointe is a class-leading hybrid moving head that delivers piercing beam performance and a fully featured spot in one compact unit. Driven by an Osram Sirius HRI 475 W source, it produces bright, clean output with superb optics: 1.8–21° in beam mode and 3–42° in spot mode. Creative control is extensive, with full CMY colour mixing, a 13-slot colour wheel, rotating and static gobo wheels (9 rotating, 14 fixed), and a bi-directional animation wheel. A beam shaper emulates framing shutters for crisp, rectangular looks, while dual prism wheels (six prisms total), variable frost, motorised zoom and focus broaden the visual toolkit. Smooth 0–100% dimming, fast strobing, and agile 540° pan/270° tilt enable dynamic, precise movement. Connectivity and control are comprehensive, supporting DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN and MA-Net/MA-Net2 via 3/5-pin XLR and RJ45, with PowerCON True1 for reliable power.
