Its 32-bit/96 kHz DSP feeds four channels of amplification delivering up to 1000 W per channel at 4 Ω, providing clean headroom and consistent tonal balance. A comprehensive factory preset library supports both passive and active loudspeaker configurations, while flexible input-to-output matrixing streamlines deployment across a wide range of system designs.
Integration with LA Network Manager enables rapid setup, real-time monitoring and system EQ, with dual Ethernet ports for robust control networking. L-DRIVE protection offers dynamic excursion and thermal management to maximise performance and longevity. An optional AES/EBU input card further reduces end-to-end latency to as low as 3.4 ms. With a universal 120/230 V power supply and low acoustic noise, the LA4 suits both touring racks and fixed installations.
