This package comprises twelve L-Acoustics KARA line source cabinets, updated to KARA II specification. Compact yet powerful, KARA delivers a 55 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth with a 110° horizontal coverage for smooth, even audience coverage. Each enclosure houses two 8-inch neodymium LF drivers in a bass-reflex design and a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver on a DOSC waveguide, meeting WST criteria for coherent wavefront coupling. With a maximum SPL of up to 139 dB (preset dependent), KARA provides impressive headroom for touring, rental and installed sound systems. The Baltic birch construction, certified rigging and selectable inter-element angles allow precise array curvature and deployment, with up to 24 units per hang when required. Performance and protection are managed via L-Acoustics amplified controllers, with presets for wideband operation, high-pass applications or extended low frequency when paired with SB18 subs. This set of 12 cabinets is ideal as a main PA, outfill or distributed system where clarity, coverage and scalability are essential.
