The d&b audiotechnik D20 is a 2U, four‑channel system amplifier delivering up to 4 x 1600 W into 4 ohms, ideal for mobile sound and fixed installations where low to medium SPL is required. Built on the d&b DSP platform, it provides factory presets for the current d&b loudspeaker portfolio (excluding J‑Series, M2 and SL‑Series), plus a flexible Linear mode for third‑party integration. Each channel offers comprehensive processing with two 16‑band EQs (parametric, asymmetric, shelving and notch) and up to 10 seconds of delay for precise time alignment.
Operation is fast and intuitive via the angled front panel with colour TFT touch screen and rotary encoder. Connectivity includes analogue and AES3 inputs, with network control over CAN‑Bus and OCA via Ethernet. Loudspeaker outputs are on NL8 for four‑channel feeds, with NL4 supporting dual‑channel, Mix TOP/SUB and 2‑way active configurations on compatible d&b cabinets. An efficient Class‑D design, LoadMatch cable compensation and a universal PFC power supply (100–240 V, 50–60 Hz) ensure stable performance, even on challenging mains.
