The Meyer Sound 500-HP is a compact, high-output amplified subwoofer engineered for flown or ground-stacked applications. Dual 12-inch long-excursion drivers with 4-inch voice coils work in a tuned enclosure to deliver tight, musical low end from 35 Hz to 140 Hz, with peak SPL up to 135 dB at 1 metre. An integrated two-channel AB/H amplifier supplies 1800 W of total power, supported by Meyer Sound’s intelligent, power-factor-corrected supply for worldwide operation and comprehensive protection.
Two versions are available: a side-handle portable model, and a rigging version compatible with the optional QuickFly MRF-500 frame for seamless integration with M’elodie arrays. Protective skids and interlocking slots ensure stable stacking, while a 38 mm pole mount supports Ultra Series tops for compact, full-range systems. Optional RMS remote monitoring provides detailed status and diagnostics via a Windows computer. Built from premium birch plywood with a hard-wearing finish and steel grille, the 500-HP is ready for demanding touring and installations.
