The Meyer Sound M3D is a self-powered cardioid subwoofer engineered to deliver focused, high-impact low frequencies for large-format touring and demanding installations. Its hybrid front- and rear-firing design projects bass energy into the audience while significantly reducing spill onto stage and into open microphones, improving gain before feedback and overall mix clarity. With a working range of 29 Hz to 95 Hz and peak output beyond 140 dB (1 m, half-space), the M3D combines deep extension, fast transient response and generous headroom suited to modern high-SPL productions.
Integrated amplification and DSP handle precision crossovers, phase and time alignment, protection and limiting, ensuring consistent, repeatable results and rapid deployment. The robust, weather-protected enclosure supports both flown and ground-stacked configurations, and integrates seamlessly with M3D, MILO and other Meyer Sound systems to form coherent arrays with excellent low-frequency directivity.
Ideal for arenas, stadiums, festivals, and fixed sports or entertainment venues, the M3D keeps low frequencies exactly where they are needed—maximising audience impact while maintaining stage clarity.
