The Yamaha DM5C is a compact digital mixing console designed for broadcast, theatre, corporate events and live sound where space is tight but control and visibility are essential. A 13.3-inch tilting multi-touch display is paired with a 4.3-inch utility screen for clear, fast operation. Four freely assignable encoders plus a Touch & Turn knob give immediate access to key parameters. The DM5C runs at 96 kHz or 48 kHz and provides 16 local mic/line inputs and 16 outputs for small setups without a stagebox. Dante networking delivers 64×64 I/O, with a PY expansion slot for additional audio networking or DSP. Bluetooth audio playback enables quick wireless playout.
Engineered for show control, it offers 12 DCA groups and 12 mute/dim groups, 48 mono input channels with 13 motorised touch faders, 24 mix buses, 12 matrix buses and 2 stereo buses. Onboard are 43 effects, expandable with 32 premium effects via PY-DSP, plus Dugan Automixing for 12 channels (expandable to 48). A USB-C 18×18 audio interface, DAW remote mode and support for Yamaha control apps streamline workflow. Optional RK5 kit enables 19-inch rack mounting.
