Its newly developed LF drivers use substantial 4-inch voice coils, a rigid aluminium basket and a dual-layer spider with upgraded adhesive to keep distortion low under heavy loads. A heavier 112 g cone and enlarged 31 mm voice-coil cavity extend low-frequency response while maintaining precise control at high SPLs. Rated at 2000 W AES (RMS), 4000 W programme and 8000 W peak, the Reason-X218B delivers up to 148 dB Max SPL at 1 metre, with a wide working bandwidth and a nominal 6.2 Ω impedance to suit flexible system designs. The cabinet is road-ready, featuring four side handles for efficient handling and a rugged build that stands up to rental and install demands. Pair with Reason-X tops or compatible arrays to create scalable systems for clubs, live venues, theatres and events. Ideal wherever tight, impactful low end and dependable performance are essential.
