The Wharfedale Pro Reason X218B is a formidable dual 18-inch passive PA subwoofer engineered for high-impact low frequency reinforcement. Delivering 2000W RMS (AES) with a maximum SPL of 148dB, it provides deep, authoritative bass with a frequency response extending down to 25Hz (depending on crossover). Two newly developed 18-inch LF drivers with 4-inch voice coils, Nomex spiders and rigid aluminium baskets ensure exceptional power handling, excursion and reliability. A robust, road-ready 18mm plywood cabinet with black PU texture coating, four integral handles and provision for castor mounting make deployment and transport straightforward. Connectivity is via twin speakON sockets and the system presents a 4 ohm load. Despite its output, the enclosure remains practical at 73.8kg and a compact 1065 x 560 x 756mm footprint. Perfectly matched to Wharfedale Reason tops and WLA line arrays, it also integrates seamlessly with a wide range of professional PA systems.
