The Waves Audio Ionic24 is a compact 3U SoundGrid stagebox designed for pristine front-end capture and flexible output to modern professional systems. It provides 24 mic/line inputs with Waves Signature preamps and selectable analogue impedance (Classic 2 kΩ or Modern 7 kΩ) to optimise tone for different microphones and sources. On the output side, 24 balanced line outs are switchable between +18 dBu and +24 dBu, ensuring ideal headroom and gain structure across a wide range of connected equipment. A stereo AES input and output streamlines digital integration, while dual independent headphone outputs make line checks and monitoring swift and simple. Seamless integration with the Waves eMotion LV1 mixer delivers low-latency SoundGrid networking, precise control and scalable I/O for touring, broadcast and installations. Supporting 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz sample rates, and housed in a rugged 3U chassis (48.2 × 31.1 × 13.1 cm, 6.7 kg), the Ionic24 is built to travel and perform. External PSU support is available (not included). Ideal for live sound, houses of worship, theatres and corporate events.
