The Vari-Lite VL5LED Wash reimagines a classic with a modern, high-CRI RGBALC LED engine. Its 18 x 60 W sources deliver rich, accurate colour with CRI above 90 and a variable white range from 2700 K to 7000 K. Dichro*Fusion frost blades provide exceptionally smooth, variable diffusion, while independent LED blade lighting and ring effects add striking visual accents without affecting the main wash. SmartColor Control streamlines colour selection and programming, with green/magenta correction for precise camera-matched looks. A 10–40° motorised zoom, quick 540° pan and 226° tilt, and selectable fan modes (Standard, Studio, Whisper) make it versatile for stage, broadcast and theatre. Control and connectivity include DMX/RDM, ArtNet and sACN via 5-pin DMX, RJ45 Ethercon and USB, with PowerCON TRUE1 in/out for reliable power linking.
