The United Studio Technologies UT Tube67 is a premium large-diaphragm valve condenser microphone inspired by revered European classics. Its UT K67 capsule (34 mm, dual-backplate, 6 µm Mylar, 24k gold-sputtered) is paired with a carefully selected NOS EF86 pentode valve and a custom UT-BV12 output transformer to deliver a rich, open tone with authoritative lows, detailed mids and silky highs. Three switchable polar patterns—omni, cardioid and figure-of-eight—provide superb versatility for vocals, voiceover, acoustic instruments, drum overheads and room ambience. Practical studio tools include a -10 dB pad for confident handling of louder sources up to 137 dB SPL (0.5% THD) and a steep 80 Hz high-pass filter (-12 dB) to manage rumble and proximity effect. With a wide 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response and <11 dB self-noise, the UT Tube67 offers classic character with modern quietness and reliability.
