The TOA D-901 is a modular digital mixer and DSP platform built for permanent installations where reliability and speech clarity matter. Configure up to twelve inputs and eight outputs with optional I/O cards, then tailor the system using onboard tools including feedback suppression, auto-mixing, parametric EQ, compression, delay and crossovers. An eight-bus matrix enables flexible zoning and room-combining, with NOM attenuation and ducking to keep spoken word consistent as sources change. Operation is straightforward via the front-panel LCD and controls, or through Windows software for offsite setup. Sixteen internal memories allow quick recall of presets for different room layouts or events. Integration is simple with RS-232C for third-party control (AMX/Crestron), while optional remote modules (D-981, D-983) and the D-984VC VCA card provide convenient distributed volume and preset control. Front-panel metering and a protect function help ensure dependable day-to-day performance.
