The TOA D-901 is a modular digital mixer/processor designed for installed sound where reliability, control and clarity are essential. Configure up to twelve inputs and eight outputs using optional modules, then shape your system with a comprehensive toolset including feedback suppression, auto-mixing, parametric EQ, compression, delays and crossovers. An eight-bus matrix provides flexible routing for zoning and room-combining, while NOM attenuation and ducking keep speech intelligibility consistent as sources change.
Setups can be created directly from the front panel via the LCD and controls, or offsite using Windows PC software. Sixteen internal memories allow rapid recall of presets for different events or room layouts. Integration is straightforward thanks to RS‑232C for third‑party control (AMX/Crestron), with optional remote modules (D‑981, D‑983) and the D‑984VC VCA module enabling convenient volume and preset control from distributed locations. Input/output metering and a front‑panel protect function help ensure dependable day‑to‑day operation.
