The LS-118 is a high-output, passive 18-inch subwoofer designed to deliver powerful, musical low-frequency reinforcement from a compact enclosure. Its front-loaded 18-inch driver works with a curved bass-reflex port to produce deep, controlled bass extension, making it an excellent partner for Distributed Mode Loudspeakers (DMLs) and conventional mid/high systems. Rated at 1200 W continuous, 2400 W programme and 3500 W peak at 8 ohms, it achieves a maximum peak SPL of 138 dB with a frequency range of 30–150 Hz (-10 dB) and 36–100 Hz (-6 dB). Built from Baltic birch with a hard-wearing polymer coating, the cabinet is engineered for touring and install applications alike. It features 16 integrated M10 points for flying, an M20 pole socket for top-mounting satellites, and dual Neutrik Speakon connectors for reliable, simple cabling. The LS-118 can be ground-stacked or flown in arrays of two, three or four to scale output for larger rooms and venues. Ideal for live sound, installs and events requiring tight, impactful low end.
