The LS-118 is a compact, high-output passive 18-inch subwoofer built for touring reliability and clean, musical low end. A front-loaded 18-inch driver pairs with a curved bass-reflex port to deliver deep, controlled bass with excellent punch and headroom. Rated at 1200 W continuous (2400 W programme, 3500 W peak) into 8 ohms, it produces up to 138 dB peak SPL, providing serious sub-bass authority without excessive footprint. Frequency response is 36–100 Hz (-6 dB), with usable output from 30–150 Hz (-10 dB), making it an ideal low-frequency partner for DML systems as well as conventional mid/high loudspeakers.
The road-ready cabinet uses Baltic birch plywood with a durable polymer coating to withstand intensive use on stage or in permanent installs. Flexible deployment options include 16 integrated M10 rigging points for flown pairs or small arrays, an M20 pole mount for top cabinets, and dual Neutrik Speakon connectors for quick daisy-chaining. Whether for live music venues, touring rigs, theatres or installed sound, the LS-118 adds authoritative, articulate low end wherever robust sub-bass is required.
