The Tectonic DML500 BK is a passive flat panel loudspeaker designed for clear, even coverage in acoustically challenging spaces. Its carbon composite panel is driven by four rear-mounted neodymium exciters to create diffuse, room-filling energy that reduces problematic reflections from hard surfaces. The result is excellent speech intelligibility, a generous sweet spot and impressive resistance to feedback, even with open microphones. A robust aluminium frame keeps the form factor slim and discreet at roughly 80 cm wide and just 9 cm deep, with a weight of around 20 kg for straightforward installation. Consistent 65° x 65° dispersion across the full bandwidth delivers stable imaging and uniform tonal balance for listeners throughout the space. With a frequency response of 85 Hz–20 kHz, phase-coherent reproduction and very low distortion, the DML500 BK performs where detail and uniformity are paramount. External amplification is required.
