The Tascam Sonicview 16 is a professional 96 kHz digital mixing console designed for live sound, installation and broadcast. Its intuitive TASCAM VIEW interface puts every key function within quick reach via dual 7-inch colour touchscreens, 16+1 motorised 100 mm faders and fully customisable layers for rapid workflow. With 44 input channels (40 mono, 2 stereo), 22 flexible buses plus LR and four multi‑effects, it delivers big-desk power in a compact footprint. An FPGA engine with 54‑bit floating-point processing ensures ultra‑low latency and pristine audio, while HDIA mic preamps with 32‑bit/96 kHz conversion provide exceptional clarity and headroom. Integrated Dante networking (64×64) with redundancy, plus AES67 and SMPTE 2110 compatibility, streamlines complex systems. A 32×32 USB interface supports recording, streaming and virtual soundcheck, while snapshots, libraries and offline/remote control for Windows, macOS and iOS keep shows moving smoothly. Two expansion slots accommodate options such as multitrack recording, MADI, AES/EBU or additional analogue I/O. Ideal for touring, corporate events, houses of worship, theatres and broadcast suites where speed, reliability and sound quality are critical.
