Using four ultra low-noise studio-grade condenser capsules powered by 48 V phantom, it captures A‑format ambisonic audio via a short breakout to four balanced XLRs. Record to any compatible four-channel recorder with matched gain, then decode in post using the SurroundZone plug‑in to B‑format and onward to stereo, 5.1/7.1 surround or height-enabled formats. With a 40 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 12 dBA equivalent noise and 130 dB max SPL, the SPS200 delivers pristine, phase-coherent sound for film, TV, VR/360 and immersive music. This Kit 2 package arrives with original packaging and key field accessories, including the SoundField Rycote windshield kit for outdoor work and a robust PFC200 Pelicase for safe transport. Also included are a 5 m NN4001 microphone cable and the MSA‑200 microphone mount to get you up and running quickly. A compact 220 g form factor makes it easy to rig on set or on location.
