The SoundField DSF-1 MK2 Microphone System brings patented SoundField capture together with precision rackmount control for immersive and stereo recording. The system comprises the DSF-1 microphone and a dedicated processor, delivering real-time B-Format outputs alongside an adjustable stereo output for recording and headphone monitoring. From the control unit you can set polar pattern, stereo width, tilt and rotation, enabling fast on-site optimisation or detailed post-production workflows when working with B‑Format compatible software.
Engineered for professional concert, broadcast and installed applications, the DSF-1 MK2 supports 44.1–192 kHz sample rates with external Word Clock, and provides AES/EBU outputs with comprehensive metering. Switchable high‑pass filters and an integrated limiter help manage rumble and unexpected peaks. Performance includes a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency range (±3 dB), 13 dBA equivalent noise and a maximum SPL of 145 dB. A 20 m LEMO 12‑pin cable is supplied, with runs up to 250 m to the controller for flexible placement.
