The Soundcraft Vi1 is a compact yet fully featured digital mixing console designed for professional live sound. It delivers 40‑bit floating‑point processing for immense headroom and superb audio quality, with no DSP sharing. The surface features 26 motorised faders and a large touchscreen with the acclaimed Vistonics interface for fast, intuitive control. Configure mixes quickly using 4 fixed input layers plus 5 user‑programmable layers. With up to 64 input channels, the Vi1 provides comprehensive local I/O: 32 mic/line inputs, AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O, plentiful analogue outputs including monitor A/B, plus 8 VCA and 4 mute groups. Onboard processing includes 4 Lexicon stereo effects engines and 27 BSS graphic EQs, minimising the need for outboard gear. Expansion is easy via the D21m card slot for formats such as MADI, AES/EBU and ADAT, enabling connection to stageboxes and Optocore systems. Redundant PSU capability adds touring‑grade reliability. Supplied complete with a protective case. An optional Vi Stagebox is available separately for expanded remote I/O.
