Sixteen motorised faders and illuminated channel strips provide immediate access to key functions, with clear metering and four mute groups streamlining operation in low-light, time‑critical environments. Four onboard Lexicon effects engines deliver studio-grade reverbs and delays on the desk, while BSS graphics and dbx dynamics keep mixes tight and musical. Despite its small footprint, the Si Expression 1 handles ambitious productions with up to 54 mono and 6 stereo inputs, 31 output buses and comprehensive I/O: 16 XLR mic preamps, four TRS line inputs, 16 XLR bus outputs, AES I/O, Word Clock, MIDI, BNC lamp and HiQnet (RJ45) for integration and remote control. An expansion slot supports Dante, MADI, AES/EBU, Aviom, CobraNet, RockNet, BLU Link and FireWire/USB with ADAT recording, and the ViSi iPad app extends flexible operation at FOH or on stage.
