Sixteen motorised faders and illuminated channel strips deliver immediate access to key functions, with clear metering and four mute groups to keep shows moving in low‑light, time‑critical environments. Onboard Lexicon effects provide four fully assignable engines for polished, studio‑grade processing directly on the desk. Despite its small footprint, the Si Expression 1 manages demanding productions with up to 54 mono and 6 stereo inputs, 31 output buses, and comprehensive connectivity: 16 XLR mic preamps, four TRS line inputs, 16 XLR bus outputs, AES I/O, Word Clock, MIDI, BNC lamp and HiQnet (RJ45) for integration and remote control.
An expansion slot supports a wide range of digital audio formats and networking options, including MADI, AES/EBU, Aviom, CobraNet, RockNet, Dante, BLU Link and FireWire/USB with ADAT recording. Remote control via the ViSi iPad app extends flexibility at FOH or on stage. Measuring 482 x 520 x 168 mm and weighing 11.8 kg, it fits easily into mobile setups.
