The Sound Projects SPX60 is a self-powered point source loudspeaker designed for professional reinforcement in portable and installed applications. It partners a low-weight neodymium 12-inch woofer with a 1.4-inch HF driver on a rotatable 60° x 40° horn, allowing optimal coverage whether the cabinet is placed horizontally or vertically. Twin 500 W amplifiers with dedicated band-pass filters and onboard speaker management deliver precise control, protection and impressive headroom. Expect up to 134 dB peak output at 1 metre, with a balanced full-range response from 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Built to endure touring use, the cabinet is constructed from cross-grain laminated multiplex and finished with a hard-wearing two-component polyurethane coating. Connectivity is straightforward with balanced XLR audio in/out and powerCON in/thru. At just 32 kg including the amplifiers and control electronics, the SPX60 offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio and simple deployment without external amps or processors. Ideal for front-of-house, stage infill, corporate AV and fixed installations where reliable, articulate sound and flexible coverage are required.
