The Sound Projects SPX90 from the Compact Series is a powerful self-powered point source loudspeaker designed for high-output reinforcement in a portable footprint. It pairs a lightweight 12-inch LF driver with a 3-inch voice coil and a neodymium magnet, with a 2.5-inch coil HF driver on a freely rotatable horn for optimal coverage in either horizontal or vertical cabinet orientation. With dedicated 700 W sine LF and 300 W sine HF amplification onboard, plus integrated band-pass filters and speaker management, the SPX90 delivers controlled performance with a peak output of up to 134 dB at 1 metre. Coverage is a precise 90° horizontal by 60° vertical, and frequency response spans 60 Hz to 20 kHz for full-range clarity. Built from cross-grain laminated multiplex and finished with a tough two-component polyurethane coating, the cabinet is robust yet manageable at just 32 kg. Connectivity includes XLR-3 audio in/out and PowerCON in/thru for neat system integration. Ideal for FOH, fills, corporate AV and portable PA.
