The Sony RM-IP500 is a professional PTZ camera remote controller designed for fast, precise operation in live events, streaming, conference and broadcast workflows. Its high‑quality joystick enables intuitive one‑handed pan, tilt and zoom, with variable speed control available via both the joystick and a dedicated seesaw lever. Separate speed knobs for pan/tilt, zoom and focus, plus direct white and black balance controls, make on‑the‑fly adjustments simple. An integrated LCD gives quick access to camera menus for parameters such as detail and knee.
The RM‑IP500 controls up to 100 cameras over IP, with auto IP assignment to compatible Sony PTZ models—no PC required. It also supports up to seven cameras via serial VISCA RS‑422, offers up to 100 presets with Trace Memory, and allows multi‑operator setups with up to five controllers on a single network. Compatible with a wide range of Sony PTZ cameras including ILME‑FR7, BRC and SRG series, it’s a robust choice for studios, houses of worship, lecture capture and event control rooms.
