An ultra-low-noise circuit with dedicated RFI filtering ensures clean, interference-free signals in both studio and live environments. The Sigma 2 retains the airy top end of the original while adding richer mids and lows for a smooth, full-bodied character.
Key performance highlights include a 20Hz–15kHz frequency response, high sensitivity (18mV/Pa, -33dB), ≤150Ω impedance, 14dB(A) equivalent noise, and 125dB max SPL. It runs on standard 48V phantom power via a 3-pin XLR and is supplied with a custom shockmount and a protective ABS hard case.
