The Solton aart SUB 15A is a compact, high-output 15-inch active subwoofer designed to add tight, musical low end to portable PA rigs for bands, DJs and events. Its robust 4-inch voice coil driver is powered by 800 W continuous (3,200 W peak) amplification, delivering punchy, controlled bass up to 133 dB peak SPL. Voiced for real-world performance, it covers 40–200 Hz (±3 dB) with usable extension to 35–250 Hz (–10 dB), providing depth and authority without muddying the mix.
Onboard DSP includes a variable low-pass crossover from 80–200 Hz, a phase switch for fast alignment, and protective limiting for clean performance at higher levels. Connectivity is straightforward with two combo XLR/6.35 mm inputs and two XLR thru outputs for easy integration with tops and mixers. Built for the road, the 15 mm birch plywood cabinet measures 460 x 590 x 580 mm and weighs 31 kg, striking a balance between durability and portability.
