The Robe BMFL Wash XF is a high-output 1,700 W Fresnel-based moving wash built for large stages, touring and broadcast. A 200 mm front Fresnel lens delivers an exceptionally even field, while the 4.5–55° zoom shifts seamlessly from tight punch to wide area coverage. Refined colour control includes full CMY, variable CTO and two SLOT&LOCK colour wheels, with DMX-controlled edge aberration correction ensuring smooth, consistent blends. Three interchangeable frost filters (light, medium, heavy) give instant flexibility from gentle diffusion to a soft, enveloping wash.
The XF variant adds motorised internal barndoors with four independently controllable blades and ±90° module rotation for precise shaping, plus a rotating graduated scrim (±180°) to balance illumination across angled or uneven surfaces. Powered by an Osram Lok-it! HTI 1700/PS lamp, it produces around 38,000 lumens—ideal where punch, consistency and control are essential. Supplied with a dual flight case for robust, efficient transport and storage.
