Its internal 24x24 audio matrix is quickly configured via the front‑panel USB port using Riedel’s Performer Audio Assignment Software, making setup fast and repeatable. In a 1U, 19‑inch chassis, the C44 plus converts four two‑channel CAT5 matrix ports into four powered beltpack lines. Beltpacks connect over standard XLR microphone cables and can be daisy‑chained, supporting up to 16 beltpacks per output and up to 38 beltpacks in total from one unit.
For rapid deployment, front‑panel DIP switches allow instant recall of routing presets. Digital CAT5 links integrate directly with Riedel Artist or Performer 32 systems, while analogue 4‑wire I/O provides straightforward connection to third‑party intercoms. External DC inputs/outputs enable resilient power schemes and are ready for redundant supply configurations.
