The QSC KS118 is a high-output active 18-inch subwoofer designed for modern touring and installed sound. Its 3600 W Class D amplifier drives a direct-radiating, long-excursion 18-inch driver for deep, authoritative low end with a maximum SPL of 136 dB. A robust onboard DSP provides selectable Deep mode, adjustable crossover and delay, plus clear status via signal, limiter and power LEDs. Connectivity is flexible with two combo XLR/TRS inputs (channels A and B) and two XLR male thru/outputs. The KS118 can be deployed in omni or cardioid configurations; a cardioid array requires at least two units. Practical details include a multifunction display, gain control, M20 threaded pole mount, and options for vertical or horizontal orientation. Built for the road, the 18 mm birch plywood cabinet features a tough finish and four heavy-duty castors. Supplied complete with a matching protective cover and a 3 m locking power cable.
