Each HT16 deploys a symmetrical 2 x 8-inch low-frequency section with a 1.4-inch high-frequency driver, delivering exceptionally low distortion and authoritative output. With 107 dB sensitivity (1 W/1 m), 550 W AES power handling and up to 144 dB peak SPL, these tops are designed for uncompromising continuous use at very high levels. Coverage is 90° (h) x 40° (v) for the variant offered, ensuring even, wide horizontal coverage and controlled vertical directivity.
Frequency response extends from 85 Hz to 19 kHz when used with approved system amplifiers, maintaining a linear phase response from 100 Hz to 19 kHz. Neodymium LF and HF magnet systems, robust high-power crossover, dual SpeakON connectors and practical rigging with side flight rails and additional M10 pick-up points support flexible touring and installation use. Each cabinet includes stacking feet and acoustic foam behind the grille, with a well-considered handle layout for safe handling.
